Das erfolgreiche Wiki für das Warhammer 40.000 Universum und die Welt von Warhammer Fantasy Battles wird in Zukunft Teil des Seitenverbunds von BELL OF LOST SOULS sein, eines der meistbesuchten englischsprachigen Newsblogs und eine der größten Foren-Communities für Tabletop und Brettspiele.

Das LEXICANUM entstand im April 2005 als eines der Hauptprojekte der SPHÄRENTOR-Community und wurde in seiner Entstehung von TabletopWelt.de (damals: Warhammer.de) unterstützt und gemeinsam gehostet.

Nach mehr als neun Jahren kann das Wiki stolz auf insgesamt knapp 40.000 Artikel in drei Sprachen und mehr als Hundertausend Besucher im Monat blicken.

Mit dem Wechsel zu BELL OF LOST SOULS soll nun ein weiterer Schritt eingeleitet werden, um den zukünftigen weiteren Ausbau und Wachstum des Projekts zu gewährleisten.

"Es war eine tolle Zeit, aber ich denke, dass dies nun eine gute Entscheidung im Sinne der Weiterführung des Projektes ist. Parallel zur Gründung des LEXICANUM wurden damals, durch den Wh40k-Fanfilm DAMNATUS, meine Ambitionen als Filmemacher geweckt und ich habe mich in den vergangenen Jahren entschieden, mich weiter darauf zu konzentrieren. Es blieb daher leider kaum noch Zeit für das LEXICANUM und auch nicht für die geplante Erneuerung des SPHÄRENTORS. Das Lob für den Erfolg und den Status des LEXICANUM gebührt den zahlreichen Autoren sowie den Administratoren, allen voran Inquisitor S., für ihre emsige Aufsicht und Qualitätskontrolle. Damit es aber auch in Zukunft sinnvoll weitergehen kann, will ich nun Platz machen, um dem Wiki neue Chancen als Teil von BELL OF LOST SOULS zu ermöglichen."

LEXICANUM BECOMES PART OF BELL OF LOST SOULS

Successful wiki for Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Fantasy LEXICANUM is now part of the BELL OF LOST SOULS network, one of the biggest English-language online communities for tabletop and board gaming.

LEXICANUM was created in Germany in April 2005 as one of the primary projects by SPHÄRENTOR with support by co-hoster TabletopWelt.de (formerly Warhammer.de).

After more than nine years LEXICANUM today totals around 40,000 articles in three different languages, and is read by hundreds of thousands of monthly readers.

The move to BELL OF LOST SOULS now marks a new milestone and paves way for LEXICANUM's future expansion and growth.

"I've loved every moment with LEXICANUM, and I think this is a good decision in terms of continuing development of the project. LEXICANUM was founded in parallel to making the Wh40k fan film DAMNATUS and that project sparked my ambitions to become a film maker. So I decided to concentrate on that in the last few years, but unfortunately couldn't spend enough time for either LEXICANUM or the planned relaunch of SPHÄRENTOR. Thus, all praise has to be given to the many contributing writers and administrators; especially Inquisitor S., for growing the wiki and maintaining it's high accuracy, quality and status.
